Judd
and Darcey Martin interview detailing their ongoing
commitment to racquetball (January 2010);
Judd and Darcey were recognized with
a spotlight award at the 2010 FRA state singles
tournament. They both have full time jobs and two
children, Tyler-6 and Tori-4 yet still find time to
volunteer at the Lakeland with 4 racquetball courts and
Winter Haven ( 2 glass wall courts) YMCA by assisting and
running racquetball activities and USAR sanctioned
tournaments. This has been an ongoing commitment for
many years, and Judd and Darcy actually met there.
The link to the interview article is another good example
of grass roots efforts that are important to keep our
sport alive and growing. Read

Growing
the game through initiatives and teamwork.
The FRA interviews Rod Van Dyke (April 2008);
The attached interview/article is an example of the grass
roots method of growing the sport we are passionate
about. Until Rod VanDyke got involved there was not
much activity or interest in racquetball at the YMCA in
South Ocala. Now the members and YMCA staff are
excited about racquetball and discussing plans to add
additional courts thanks to Rod and his team of
helpers. Check out the link to the article and
